Info: Marengo County 4-H and the Alabama Rural Heritage Center will sponsor a two-day fishing and water safety workshop on Monday and Tuesday July 18 and 19. The workshop is open to all children ages 8 to 12. Cost is $5. The workshop will start with a water safety program and outdoor fun at the Rural Heritage Center on Monday. On Tuesday participants will learn to fish at the Thomaston Lake. Workshop is from 8 to 11 each morning. Preregistration is required. Call 334 295-5959 to register.
