Info: Jake Lear has played Gip's Place several times. He plays several nights a week out on Beal Street in the good weather and tours Europe in the winter. Jake is said to be a cross between Stevie Ray Vaughn and Bob Dylan. This trip down he will be accompanied by Roy Cunningham on drums. Roy is from a family of drummers. His older brother toured with Otis Redding and was killed in the same air crash. Another drummer played with Paul McCartney. Roy was a Stax drummer for years backing many top talents.
