Info: Black Belt Treasures will host a Patchwork Festival on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 10 am until 2 pm. Black Belt Treasures will feature demonstrations by artists and craftsmen, a book signing, music, food, and great fun.
Artists on hand to demonstrate will be quilters Rennie Miller and Betty Kennedy, chair caner Jennifer Philen, textile weaver Joyce Huizinga, potters Kristin Law and Sam Williams, soap maker Betty Anderson and pine-needle basket weaver Maxine Hopkins. K.T. Archer author of Kismet and The Silver will be present for a book signing. Music will be provided by Jimmy Brock, Fred Sheffield & Friends, Zach Kennedy, Jonathon Williams, and vocalist Laura Grace Creswell. Raleigh Wilkerson’s Blue Spoon Catering will serve $10 barbeque plate lunches.
