Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Well-known local and area artists and craftsmen will be on hand for this festive all day event. There will be a great variety of high quality handcrafted items for sale ranging from paintings and watercolors to beeswax candles, handmade soaps, jewelry, pottery, hand-painted barrettes and pins, calligraphy, inlaid cutting boards, tin and metal decorative items, metal sculptures, baked goods, jelly and pickles, hand-carved walking sticks and staffs, hand knit and crocheted scarves, fresh Christmas wreaths and garlands, handmade Christmas bows, and other items.
This sale offers the opportunity to purchase truly special gifts since everything is handcrafted. In addition, access to services such as calligraphy and the restoration of oil paintings will also be available.
Be sure to register for the great door prize, a beautiful piece of Beatrix Ball serving ware. The Sturdivant Hall Gift Shop in the old kitchen will also be open all day and there are more wonderful gifts there to delight your friends and family on the big day.
