Info: Come celebrate our rich hunting heritage at this annual event in Pine Apple, Alabama---in the heart of the SOUTH'S FINEST HUNTING MECCA! Featuring local and area cooks, artists, merchants, craftsmen, traders.
The day begins at 9AM in the downtown area as vendors begin selling their arts and crafts.
The Parade begins at 12 noon and will include cars, trucks, horse riders, children on bicycles, and ATVs.
At 7PM, prize money for the winner of the Les Moorer Memorial Big Buck Contest will be announced. The hunter who kills the biggest buck that day will be awarded $500. The ladies grand prize is $250 and the juveniles prize (age 17 and under) is $150.
Hunter Appreciation Day is presented each year as an effort to say thank you to the many hunters and their families who make the Pine Apple area their recreational home and to celebrate the opening of hunting season. Pine Apple Promotions is proud to be a leader in the area in promoting clean, wholesome, family fun and entertainment for our citizens and guests at this fun-filled event.
