Info: Alabama’s most famous ghost town is a place of constant renewal. Two centuries ago, it was the center of state government. Now it is a place of picturesque ruins, a gateway to natural wonders, and a significant archaeological park. This tour will visit Castle Morgan, the Civil War POW camp at Old Cahawba, and explore the 900-acre park. A free "Explorer's Guide" available at the visitor center helps visitors follow the nature, bike, and canoe trails. Free, loaner bikes are available with advanced registration.
