Info: For forty-one years the Sumter County Fine Arts Council has provided quality entertainment and arts education programs to the west Alabama community. The SCFAC is based in Livingston, Alabama, and is governed by a Board of Directors whose members represent the west central Alabama area. The SCFAC receives support from the Alabama State Council on the Arts, from the National Endowment for the Arts (a federal agency), from The University of West Alabama, and from other agencies, businesses, individuals. The SCFAC season typically begins in late August or early September and runs through April.
